What are Healing Rooms?

Healing Rooms provide a loving, safe, confidential environment where you can come to receive healing prayer from a team of Christians. Jesus Christ does the healing. There is no charge and no appointment is necessary.

Some people are healed instantly by a miraculous touch from God. Others receive their healing progressively over a period of days, weeks, or months. We are committed to pray for a person for as long as it takes, contending for their healing until they are completely well! We pray for physical healing and emotional healing to the complete person (spirit, soul and body).

Healing Rooms commenced in July 1999 from a location in Spokane, USA and has rapidly expanded. Many thousands of people have visited one of the Healing Rooms in Australia, and we rejoice over the numerous stories of people healed by God. There are currently 30 Healing Rooms in Australia (with around eight new ones starting later in 2007) and 649 Healing Rooms located in 31 nations. Christians from many churches form the ministry teams.

Member of IAHR

The National Association of Healing Rooms Australia is a member of the International Association of Healing Rooms (IAHR). Our vision is to see Healing Rooms raised up across Australia, the Pacific and around the world. As an association we offer and mutually share the tools to equip Healing Rooms ministry and thus establish identifiable commonality and relationship amongst Healing Rooms.
